Collagen Plus is a food supplement containing hydrolysed Collagen, a form of collagen that is broken down into small molecules for greater bioavailability.
In addition, the supplement contains Polygonum, herbs used in traditional medicine to improve the elasticity and health of the skin, helping to reduce the signs of ageing. Zinc, a mineral essential for health, is present in the supplement and plays an important role in the formation of collagen. Copper is another mineral contained in the supplement that can help improve collagen production, tissue repair and protection. Hyaluronic Acid is a hydrophilic substance, that is, able to retain water, and therefore an important active for keeping the skin hydrated, elastic and healthy.
The supplement also contains Vitamin B6, important for skin health; it improves the skin's ability to retain moisture, making it softer and more hydrated. A Vitamin B6 deficiency can negatively affect collagen production and skin health.

WHEN TO TAKE IT?
Take it every day in the morning or in the evening
Collagen supplements can be taken either in the morning or in the evening. There are advantages to each time of day you choose:
- in the morning, being digested on an empty stomach, it can be absorbed better.
- mid-morning or mid-afternoon it can help maintain the feeling of fullness for longer.
- in the evening it can help the body's recovery process during the REM phase (in some cases, however, due to the energy intake, it may delay sleep in people with this kind of problem).
HOW OFTEN TO REPEAT THE TREATMENT
To see the benefits of collagen supplements, they need to be taken for a period of 1 to 3 months.
It is recommended to do at least two courses a year for the best results.
To maximise results, you can take it for 3 months then take a break of 30/60 days.
PREGNANCY OR BREASTFEEDING?
Although the ingredients it contains have no particular contraindications or warnings, this is not a formula designed for the period of pregnancy and breastfeeding, so it is not recommended during these periods.
