A light-textured face gel based on low, medium and high molecular weight hyaluronic acid and hydrolysed collagen. It is suitable for all skin types, in particular more mature skin, to counter the signs of age. Low molecular weight hyaluronic acid has a hydrating and smoothing effect on fine lines, the medium molecular weight one gives the skin greater firmness, and the high molecular weight one carries out a protective, rehydrating and three-dimensional action on the surface of the face. Collagen in hydrolysed form is easily absorbed and carries out a firming, anti-wrinkle action, improving the skin's tone and elasticity.

FUNCTIONS OF THE ACTIVES

  • LOW MOLECULAR WEIGHT HYALURONIC ACID: thanks to the reduced size of its molecules, it is able to penetrate more deeply into the dermis, plumping up the network of hyaluronic acid already naturally present and improving the level of hydration. At the level of wrinkles, it carries out a filling and smoothing action, smoothing them out and making them less visible. Finally, it stimulates the production of collagen.
  • MEDIUM MOLECULAR WEIGHT HYALURONIC ACID: it is able to be absorbed by the skin, even though it does not reach the deepest layers of the dermis. Thanks to its ability to bind numerous water molecules to itself, it helps preserve the turgor and firmness of the skin, which looks firmer and more toned.
  • HIGH MOLECULAR WEIGHT HYALURONIC ACID: its molecules are too large to be absorbed, so they settle on the surface of the epidermis, forming a film with a protective action towards the skin's barrier functions. At the same time, this imperceptible film retains the water molecules that would naturally be lost in the perspiration process, thus having a rehydrating effect and making the skin soft and smooth.
  • HYDROLYSED COLLAGEN: collagen is the main protein of connective tissue and, at the skin level, it has the important function of giving it a solid, firm structure. Advancing age leads to a physiological and progressive decrease in collagen, with a consequent loss of skin tone and elasticity. Hydrolysed collagen, obtained by fragmenting collagen into smaller peptide chains, is easily absorbed into the dermis and supports the skin's structure, which will look firmer, younger and more resistant.
